CRCCC offers trainings in many areas. Trainings are provided by knowledgeable staff and are available to the community. For more information on a specific topic, please contact the number listed below for each area of interest.

  • Rape/Sexual Assault - Cumberland River Rape Victim Services provide educational programs for the public, civic groups, youth groups, agencies, schools, etc. These may be on the general topic of sexual abuse or specific topics related to sexual assault.   • Substance AbuseOur Regional Prevention Center is a comprehensive program, designed to support community resources to reduce and prevent substance abuse problems. The RPC uses education/training, agency consultation, public policy, media advocacy, and community mobilization to accomplish this goal. Call (606)337-2070 for information.

  • Parenting - TriCo Mentoring is a program dedicated to the support of families. Parenting classes are provided using the Systematic Training for Effective Parenting method. Families receive mentoring, problem-solving techniques, communication skills, and referrals to other community services. For information, call (606)526-6303.
  • Child Care Training - The Early Childhood Mental Health Grant allows for child care training hours to be provided to daycare program staff, in the Cumberland Valley Region, at no cost. These trainings include, but are not limited to:  Conflict Resolution, Classroom Management, Positive Communication, Disruptive Behavior, Social/Emotional Skills. For more information on training or scheduling, please contact the Early Childhood Trainer at (606)528-7010.
